“Right
after Tim’s injury, we received letters from a lot of lawyers
who wanted to meet with us to discuss our case, and we decided
not to meet with any of those firms. The McIntosh Law Firm was
recommended to us, and so we went in to meet with Sandy Carnegie
and other lawyers there. We have no doubt that we made the right
choice for ourselves in retaining the McIntosh Law Firm to represent
us in Tim’s catastrophic injury case.” In January 2003 while helping victims of a weather-related
wreck on a North Carolina interstate highway, paramedic Tim Hayes
was critically injured when he was pinned against a guard rail
by an out of control vehicle. Hayes lost both of his legs as a
result of the accident.
Tim and his wife Susan were referred to the McIntosh Law Firm by
a friend, but they also interviewed a number of other attorneys
before choosing McIntosh. Why did they decide to work with Sandy
Carnegie and Jim Fuller’s personal injury team?
According to Tim and Susan, “We quickly developed a sense
of trust in them. We wanted to work with someone who was honest
and whose first interest was in helping us in the situation we
found ourselves.” Their initial trust in Sandy and Jim has
grown over the course of the on-going case. “Sandy is down-to-earth,
and he tells it like it is,” Tim says. “He doesn’t
pull any punches and he let’s me know what he can achieve
in our case and what he can’t. I trust him completely.”
Susan Hayes agrees with her husband. “With the McIntosh Law
Firm representing us in our personal injury case, we have one less
thing to worry about and we can go on with our lives trusting that
they are looking our for our best interest.”
