Court Cancels Obama Overtime Rules

A federal court has blocked implementation of the federal Department of Labor regulation set to go in effect on December 1, 2016, increasing the salary requirements to exempt employees from overtime and other provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act from $455 per week ($23,660 annually) to $921 per week ($47,892).
